All-on-4
A full set of teeth again — fixed, lasting, comfortable
For people who are already living without teeth, or who are facing the loss of nearly all their teeth, a full removable denture is often the first thing proposed. But it isn't the only option — and for many patients, it isn't the best.
With All-on-4, we replace a complete set of teeth (upper, lower, or both) with a fixed bridge on just four implants. No more loose denture. No more gluing. No more giving up certain foods. Your teeth stay where they belong — attached in the mouth, like your own.
All-on-4 is a technique in which four implants are placed in the jawbone in a carefully calculated configuration. A fixed bridge with a full set of teeth is attached to these implants. The placement and the temporary bridge often happen on the same day — that's why people sometimes call it "teeth in a day".
What makes this technique distinctive:
Four implants for a whole arch. Fewer surgical points, lower cost, and often no bone augmentation needed — the two rear implants are placed at an angle to make optimal use of existing bone.
Immediate loading. You leave the clinic the same day with a fixed temporary bridge in place.
Fixed, not removable. The bridge stays in your mouth 24/7, just like your own teeth.
Final result within several months. After a healing period, the definitive bridge is fitted.
What to expect
How All-on-4 treatment works
The All-on-4 journey usually takes 4 to 6 months, divided into clearly defined phases.
1. Consultation and 3D planning
We take a CBCT scan and intraoral scan, assess your bone, gums and general health, and digitally plan the exact position of the four implants. You see the plan before we do anything.
2. Surgery day — the new teeth
On the day of the procedure, a lot happens — but for you, it's surprisingly comfortable. We work under local anaesthetic, with sedation if desired. In sequence:
Any remaining unsaveable teeth are removed
The four implants are placed according to the digital plan
A fixed temporary bridge is immediately attached to the implants
You leave the clinic the same day with a full set of teeth. No hole, no gap, no waiting weeks.
3. Healing period
Over the following 3 to 6 months, the implants integrate into the bone. During this period you wear the temporary bridge, which is fully functional. A few restrictions: very hard foods (nuts, hard bread) are best avoided temporarily to protect the integration.
Check-ups every few weeks to ensure healing is progressing well. If there's a problem, we catch it early.
4. The definitive bridge
Once the implants are fully integrated, we take a new digital impression. In the laboratory, the final bridge is designed — in hard-wearing material (zirconia, titanium with ceramic, or a hybrid), matched to your face and preferences. The colour, shape and size of the teeth are considered in detail.
Fitting the final bridge is a comfortable appointment. From that moment on, you have a set of teeth that functions and looks like your own — often better than what you had for years before.

Full digital planning. CBCT scan, digital implant planning and laboratory work coordinated — for a predictable end result.
Immediate temporary bridge. You don't go home with a loose denture after surgery. You leave with fixed teeth.
Follow-up and maintenance. All-on-4 isn't a one-off procedure — it's a commitment. Regular check-ups, professional cleaning and, if necessary, adjustments of the bridge keep everything in good condition for the long term.
Support throughout the journey. From the first conversation to the final bridge, you go through the process with the same team. Support in English, French or Dutch.
What does All-on-4 cost?
An All-on-4 treatment (per arch) costs in Belgium generally between €10,000 and €18,000, depending on the material of the final bridge, the complexity of your situation, and whether additional procedures are needed (extractions, bone preparation).
That may sound high. Putting it in perspective:
Compared with replacing individual teeth. A full arch of individual implants with crowns would cost 2 to 3 times as much.
Compared with successive dentures. A removable denture needs to be replaced every 5–7 years, combined with jawbone loss that makes each new denture less comfortable. Over 20 years, the total cost is often comparable, with significantly lower quality of life.
Compared with quality of life. Many of our All-on-4 patients describe it as "the best medical investment I've ever made".
Reimbursement by the Belgian health insurance fund (mutualiteit) is limited but not zero. Some hospitalisation insurances and supplementary dental insurances cover part of the cost. At your consultation, you receive a full written quote with all cost items. Payment can be spread over several months.
